Before I get to the beautiful Allix’s images, I wanted to share the shock Guy & I got this morning. We found out we are somehow miraculously pregnant with no fertility treatments. It is still super early, but I’ve never been one to keep big news to myself.
Allix was a lot of fun to work with. The look she really wanted was to be in a green farm like setting. My neighbor has a gorgeous farm with perfectly weathered buildings and a gigantic oak tree. He gave us permission to shoot there capturing the look Allix and her mom wanted. Enjoy the images.
What a fantastic smile Allix has.
A favorite. Its like she is looking to the future.
The light was perfect right here.
Simple and elegant.
Gotta capture the cheer uniform.
The farm had so many cool spots with great light.
This might be my new favorite spot in a field across from the farm. So often with fields there are either crops or animals. This one doesn’t have either making it easy to utilize without having to avoid crops or animal bombs.
Her eyes speak volumes.
My original thought for this image was a silhouette under a gazebo with a pond in the background. The pond wasn’t available so we went to this field with a cool gate. It worked perfect. It’s a little moody and gorgeous. The whole series also includes a super cute smiley shot at the camera.
If you have known me for any length of time you know I love love love to photograph people in weeds. They come out amazing in images. Here is Allix among super tall weeds that seem like airy feathers around her.
