Photography Classes

So you have a camera, now what!  We all want to have wonderful images of our families day to day activities, trips, adventures and special events.  No matter what camera you have there are many tips and tricks you can learn to capture those moments.  I have classes for DSLR users as well as a point and shoot users.  They are designed to help you take better images with more confidence.

If you are interested contact me with some possible dates/times that work for you and possibly your friends so we can coordinate the class.

DSLR Classes

Private Group Class

$75 per person with a 3 person minimum

Interested in a private group class? These are a popular class option!! Get a group of your friends together, at your home, for a mom’s night out, or a daytime class while the kids are at school.  We can also set up a couples class where each couple counts as one participant.

We’ll cover:

  • 10 Tips for Taking Better Pictures of Your Kids -Introduction to Exposure
  • ISO -Shutter Speed -Aperture -Training Wheels -Using your Camera’s Basic Settings -Lens Overview
  • Small group setting for more personal training
  • Practice your new knowledge
  • 3 hour class {3-4 participants}, 4 hour class {5-7 participants}
  • Textbook to keep as a reference

Private Individual Class

$200.00

  • great way to get help with your specific camera
  • learn the basics of what goes into an exposure
  • go over the features of your camera
  • we’ll also cover the differences between different lenses and which lens is best during different circumstances
  • Practice your new knowledge
  • If time permits we can discuss digital editing
  • The class lasts 3-4 hours
  • Textbook to keep as a reference

Point & Shoot Class

Private Group Class

$15 per person with a 5 person minimum

Get a group of your friends together, at your home, for a mom’s night out, or a daytime class while the kids are at school.  We can also set up a couple class where each couple counts as one participant.
